Hobbies & Interests
When I’m not helping clients with their accounting and tax needs, you’ll likely find me running and preparing for my next competition. I enjoy participating in Spartan Runs and other Obstacle Course Races (OCR) and just signed up for my first Mayoral Marathon in Jacksonville.
Someone asked me what got me interested in these types of competitions and I’ve been running for about 10 years and started with another tax attorney in town. I used to run road races and got interested in the Spartan races because my friend challenged me to do it. I love pushing myself beyond what I think I can do and experiencing and overcoming obstacles. Who among us doesn’t consistently face obstacles in our lives?
What I love about Obstacle Course Races like Spartan is they are all about community. Joe DeSena started the Spartan Races and his initial goal was to get 100 million people off of their couches. Since then, he’s proved successful in this regard, and many others, as he’s created an amazing community. The best thing about this community is the support you can give and receive when training for and participating in OCR’s!

Maybelaine Arnaiz
Maybelaine is a licensed CPA and tax accountant. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy in 2017 and has been working with business and personal taxes since then. Maybe’s work experience includes reviewing client’s support documents, tax preparation, initial tax review and training new staff tax accountants. She is dedicated to continued professional growth and advancing her career. Besides helping clients with their taxes, she volunteers as part of the welcome ministry in her local church. Her other interests also include visiting spas and doing her personal financial projection, planning, and budgeting.
Teresa Joy Parungao
Teresa Joy Parungao embarked on her career as an Accountant upon completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and acquiring her license as a Certified Public Accountant in 2015. She finds fulfillment in assisting various clients and entities by delivering precise and accurate financial reports. In addition to her accounting pursuits, she harbors a deep passion for both food and travel.
